The cabinet department on Monday (May 4) sent a letter to the home ministry, commerce ministry, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners, media reports said.
Hat-bazaars, shops, business establishments and shopping malls will be open from 10 am to 4 pm. The guidelines also state that all hygiene rules, including the use of sanitizers at the entrances of each shopping mall, must be followed and precautions must be taken.
It has also been said that people should stay in their respective places during the upcoming Eid holidays and refrain from long distance travel. All the instructions of the government have to be followed while maintaining social distance.

করোনাভাইরাস সংক্রমণ পরিস্থিতির মধ্যে স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে সীমিত পরিসরে দোকান ও শপিংমল আগামী ১০ মে থেকে খোলার নির্দেশনা দিয়েছে সরকার । তবে তা বিকেল ৪টার মধ্যে বন্ধ করতে হবে।
সোমবার (৪ মে) মন্ত্রিপরিষদ বিভাগ থেকে স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়, বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়, বিভাগীয় কমিশনার ও জেলা প্রশাসকদের কাছে পাঠানো চিঠি পাঠানো হয়েছে বলে গণ-মাধ্যমকে জানানো হয় ।
হাট-বাজার, দুকানপাট, ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান ও শপিংমলগুলো সকাল ১০ টা থেকে বিকেল ৪ টা পর্যন্ত চলবে । এছাড়া প্রতিটা শপিংমলের প্রবেশ পথে স্যানিটাইজার ব্যবহারসহ যাবতীয় স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে ও সতর্কতা বজায় রাখতে হবে বলে নির্দেশনায় উল্লেখ রয়েছে ।
আরও বলা হয়েছে, আসন্ন ঈদের ছুটিতে জনগণকে নিজ নিজ স্থানে থাকতে হবে এবং দুরপাল্লার ভ্রমণ থেকে বিরত থাকতে হবে। সামাজিক দুরত্ব বজায় রেখে সরকারের সকল নির্দেশনা মেনে চলতে হবে ।
সেখানে বলা হয়, রমজান এবং ঈদুল ফিতরকে সামনে রেখে সীমিত পরিসরে ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য চালুর স্বার্থে দোকানপাট খোলা রাখা যাবে। তবে ক্রয়-বিক্রয়কালে পারস্পরিক দূরত্ব বজায় রাখাসহ অন্যান্য স্বাস্থ্যবিধি প্রতিপালন করতে হবে।
এছাড়া শপিংমলে আগত যানবাহন অবশ্যই জীবাণুমুক্তের ব্যবস্থা রাখতে হবে। দোকানপাট ও শপিংমলগুলো আবশ্যিকভাবে বিকেল ৫টার মধ্যে বন্ধ করতে হবে।
মন্ত্রিপরিষদ বিভাগের কর্মকর্তারা জানান, প্রথমে দোকান, শপিংমল বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত খোলা রাখার কথা বলা হলেও পরে তা ৪টা করা হয়েছে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেন, এ পরিস্থিতির মধ্যে ঈদের আগে যেন সবাই কেনাকাটা করতে পারে সেদিকেও সরকার লক্ষ্য রাখছে। তবে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে সবাই কেনাকাটা করতে পারেন সেদিকে খেয়াল রাখতে হবে।
