Police will not allow anyone to enter and exit Dhaka. Police have decided to stop people from entering and leaving Dhaka due to the Corona virus. The decision was taken to implement the social distance at the behest of the government, police said.

There, thousands of garment workers on Saturday ignored the lockdown in Bangladesh, leaving several vehicles in Dhaka on foot, even on foot. There it is seen that no one has maintained any social distance or used the mask.

The issue has sparked criticism from Saturday through social media. In the face of criticism, the owners’ organization announced a decision to extend the holiday in lieu of a decision to keep the garment open.

“We have already stopped those who have started their journey from outside Dhaka and returned to their homes,” said a police officer. Besides, we do not allow anyone to leave Dhaka for a new gathering.

It is reported that police have been forced to take this action after news of the massacre spread while workers of readymade garments and other factories were coming to the workplace near Dhaka on Saturday (April 04).

“Our highway police, range police and district level police are implementing this decision in coordination with the control room of the headquarters,” he said.

“ঢাকায় কাউকে ঢুকতে ও বের হতে দেবে না পুলিশ“

করোনা ভাইরাসের কারণে বাইরে থেকে ঢাকার ভেতরে মানুষে প্রবেশ এবং ঢাকা থেকে বাইরে যাওয়া বন্ধ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে পুলিশ। সরকারের নির্দেশে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বাস্তবায়ন করতে এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয় বলে জানিয়েছেন পুলিশ ।

রোববার (০৫ এপ্রিল) বিবিসি বাংলার এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানা গেছে।

সেখানে বলা হয়েছে, বাংলাদেশের লকডাউন উপেক্ষা করে শনিবার হাজার হাজার গার্মেন্টস শ্রমিক ঝুকি নিয়ে বিভিন্ন পন্যবাহী গাড়িতে এমনকি পায়ে হেটে পর্যন্ত ঢাকায় প্রবেশ করেছে । সেখানে দেখা যায় কেউ কোন সামাজিক দুরত্ব বজায় রাখা বা মাস্ক ব্যবহার কোনটাই করেনি ।

এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে শনিবার থেকে সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে সমালোচনার ঝড় উঠে । সমালোচনার মুখে মালিকদের সংগঠন গার্মেন্টস খোলার রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত বদলে ছুটি বাড়িয়ে দেওয়ার ঘোষনা দেয় ।

কিন্তু তাতেই বা কি হবে ? ততক্ষণে বহু শ্রমিক ঢাকায় ঢুকে পড়েছে । রবিবার (০৫ এপ্রিল) সকালে দেখা যায় রাস্তায় শ্রমিকদের ঢল । ছুটেছে তারা কর্মক্ষেত্রে ।

পুলিশের এক কর্মকর্তা বলেন, এরই মধ্যে যারা ঢাকার বাইরে থেকে ঢাকার দিকে যাত্রা শুরু করেছেন, তাদের আমরা আটকে দিয়েছি এবং নিজ নিজ বাড়িতে ফিরিয়ে দিয়েছি। এছাড়া নতুন করে জড়ো হয়ে কাউকে ঢাকার দিকে রওনা হতে দিচ্ছি না আমরা।

জানা যায়, শনিবার (৪ এপ্রিল) ঢাকার আশেপাশে অবস্থিত তৈরি পোশাক ও অন্যান্য কারখানার শ্রমিকদের কর্মস্থলের দিকে আসতে থাকার সময় জনসমাগমের খবর ছড়িয়ে পড়ার পর পুলিশ এই ব্যবস্থা নিতে বাধ্য হয়েছে।

তিনি বলেন, আমাদের হাইওয়ে পুলিশ, রেঞ্জ পুলিশ ও জেলা পর্যায়ের পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরের কন্ট্রোল রুমের সাথে সমন্বয় করে এই সিদ্ধান্ত বাস্তবায়ন করছে।

এরই মধ্যে ০৫ তারিখ রবিবার নতুন করে ১৮ জন করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়ে মোট ৮৮ জনে দারিয়েছে । মারা গেছে ৯ জন । সুস্থ্য হয়ে বাড়ি ফিরেছে ৩৩ জন ।

এখন প্রশ্ন উঠেছে , দেশে যখন গণপরিবহন বন্ধ থাকার কথা ছিলই এবং শুরু থেকেই লকডাউন অভ্যাহত ছিল তাহলে কেনো গার্মেন্ট ফ্যাক্টরি খোলা রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হলো ? কেন গার্মেন্টস শ্রমিকদের জীবনের ঝুকি নিতে হলো ? কেনইবা এই সিদ্ধান্তের জন্য ঢাকাবাসীর বিপদ বাড়ানো হলো ?

যদি ছুটি অভ্যাহত ছিলোই তাহলে কেনো এত বড় একটা ভুল সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে হাজারো মানুষের জীবন সংকটাপন্ন করা হলো ?

তবে মানুষের চলাফেরার ওপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা থাকলেও নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় পণ্য ও জরুরি সেবার সাথে সংশ্লিষ্ট সব ধরণের পণ্য পরিবহন অব্যাহত থাকবে।

আবার কারখানা বন্ধের সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হলে তারা নিজ নিজ বাড়িতে ফিরতে চাইলে তাদেরও বাধা দেওয়া হবে। এখন থেকে কাউকে কোনো ভাবেই ঢাকায় ঢুকতে বা বের হতে দেওয়া হবেনা ।

কেননা এতে বহু মানুষের জীবনের সংকট থাকবে । এছাড়া সামাজিক দূরত্ব মেনে চলার ক্ষেত্রে সরকারি নির্দেশনা না মানলে প্রয়োজনে পুলিশ আইনি ব্যবস্থাও নেবে বলে জানান পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা সোহেল রানা।

If they decide to close the factory, they will be barred if they want to return to their homes. From now on, no one will be allowed to enter or exit Dhaka.

Because it will have many people’s lives in crisis. Police will also take legal action if necessary, if the government does not comply with the social distance, police officer Sohail Rana said.
