দেশব্যাপী ছড়িয়ে পড়া করোনা ভাইরাস কোভিড-১৯ সংকট মোকাবেলায় কার্যকর প্রতিরোধ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণে বাংলাদেশের পাশে রয়েছে সুইজারল্যান্ড। করোনা ভাইরাসের এই সংকট মোকাবেলায় বাংলদেশ সরকারকে কিছুটা হলেও সাহায্য করতে চায় সুইজারল্যান্ড ।
শনিবার (১১ এপ্রিল) ঢাকাস্থ সুইস দূতাবাসের এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ কথা জানানো হয়।
বাংলাদেশে প্রতিদিন করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দিগুণ হয়ে বেড়ে চলেছে । দেশজুড়ে চলছে লকডাউন ও প্রশাসনের কঠোর নজরদারি ।
বাংলাদেশে এখন পর্যন্ত করোনা ভাইরাসে মোট আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাড়িয়েছে ৮০৩ জন । মারা গেছে মোট ৩৯ জন । সুস্থ্য হয়েছে ৪২ জন । চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় রয়েছে ৭২২ জন । কোয়ারেন্টাইন অবস্থায় রয়েছে ১২৬০৩ জন । এদের মধ্যে ঢাকায় আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা মোট ২৫০ এবং মৃত্যু ১০ জন ।
কোভিড-১৯ ঝুঁকি প্রতিরোধ ও হ্রাস করার জন্য বাংলাদেশ সরকার সর্বোচ চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে । এই অবস্থার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে সুইজারল্যান্ড সরকার অর্থ ও পরামর্শ নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের পাশে থাকার কথা জানিয়েছে ।
এছাড়াও, জাতিসংঘ এবং আন্তর্জাতিক রেড ক্রস ও রেড ক্রিসেন্ট আন্দোলনের বৈশ্বিক কোভিড-১৯ আবেদনে সুইজারল্যান্ড ১৪.৪ মিলিয়ন সুইস ফ্রাঙ্ক বা ১২৬ কোটি টাকা প্রদান করছে।
