312 Bangladeshis trapped in Saudi Arabia returned home. A special flight from Saudi Airlines has landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with 312 Bangladeshi passengers, including passengers and detained in Saudi prisons.
The Omarah detainees, who were detained and detained in the Saudi prison, were supposed to be sent on a special flight to the country. Tonight, that special flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with 312 Bangladeshi passengers.
Earlier, Omarah travelers were stuck because of the lockdown and curfew issued in Saudi Arabia due to the outbreak of the Corona virus. Saudi Arabia had promised to send some Bangladeshi prisoners, including those trapped in Omarah, to return to the country in a special way. Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ghulam Masih confirmed this. Accordingly, 312 Bangladeshis were flown to Bangladesh by a special Saudi Airlines flight.
He said that a special flight from Saudi Airlines was scheduled to depart on April 9 with passengers from Omara stranded and Bangladeshis in detention. But because of the lockdown and curfew issued in the country due to Corona, that was not possible.
Although lockdown and curfew conditions are still prevailing in Saudi Arabia for the outbreak of Corona, the Riyadh Bangladesh Embassy in coordination with the country’s local administration, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Civil Aviation have been sent home tonight.
With the help of officials from the Riyadh Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Bangladesh Consulate and the Mecca Bangladesh Hajj Mission, the passengers could be sent to the country.

সৌদি কারাগারে থাকা ও আটকে পড়া ওমরাহ যাত্রীসহ ৩১২ বাংলাদেশিকে নিয়ে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করেছে সৌদি এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি বিশেষ ফ্লাইট।
সৌদিয়ারবের কারাগারে আটকে থাকা ও আটকে পড়া ওমরাহ যাত্রীদের একটি বিশেষ ফ্লাইটে দেশে পাঠানোর কথা ছিল । আজ রাতে সেই বিশেষ ফ্লাইট ৩১২ জন বাংলাদেশী যাত্রী নিয়ে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করেছে ।
এর আগে, করোনা ভাইরাসের প্রাদুর্ভাবের কারনে সৌদিতে লকডাউন ও কারফিউ জারি থাকায় ওমরাহ যাত্রীরা আটকে পড়েছিল । সেসব আটকে পড়া ওমরাহ যাত্রীসহ সৌদি কারাগারে থাকা কিছু বাংলাদেশীকে বিশেষ ভাবে দেশে ফেরত পাঠানোর কথা দিয়েছিল সৌদি আরব । এই বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছে সৌদি আরবে নিযুক্ত বাংলাদেশের রাষ্ট্রদূত গোলাম মসিহ। সেই কথা অনুযায়ী ৩১২ জন বাংলাদেশীকে সৌদি এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি বিশেষ ফ্লাইটে করে বাংলাদেশে নিয়ে আসা হয়েছে ।
তিনি জানান, গত ৯ এপ্রিল আটকে পড়া ওমরাহ যাত্রী এবং ডিটেনশনে থাকা বাংলাদেশিদের নিয়ে সৌদি এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি বিশেষ ফ্লাইট ছেড়ে যাওয়ার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু করোনার কারণে দেশটিতে লকডাউন ও কারফিউ জারি থাকায় সেটা সম্ভব হয়নি।
যদিও করোনা প্রাদুর্ভাবের জন্য এখনো পর্যন্ত সৌদিতে লকডাউন ও কারফিউ অবস্থা বিরাজ করছে তবু এর মধ্যেই রিয়াদ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস থেকে দেশটির স্থানীয় প্রশাসন, স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়, হজ ও ওমরাহ মন্ত্রণালয় এবং সিভিল এভিয়েশনের সঙ্গে সমন্বয় করে এসব আটকে পড়া যাত্রীদের আজ রাতে দেশে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
সৌদি আরবের রিয়াদ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, জেদ্দা বাংলাদেশ কনস্যুলেট এবং মক্কা বাংলাদেশ হজ মিশনের কর্মকর্তাদের সহযোগিতায় এসব যাত্রীদের দেশে পাঠানো সম্ভব হয়েছে।
