যদিও বিশেষজ্ঞদের দাবি, প্রাণীদেহ থেকেই ভয়ঙ্কর রোগের জীবাণু ছড়িয়েছে। যদি তাই হয় তাহলে কিভাবে চীন এই করোনা ভাইরাস নিয়ন্ত্রণ করছে ? যেখানে বিশ্বব্যাপী মৃত্যুর মিছিল প্রতিনীয়ত বেড়েই চলেছে সেখানে মৃত্যুর সংখ্যা এত কম হয় কিভাবে ? চীনের পরিস্থিতি এখন স্বাভাবিক রয়েছে ।
০৮ এপ্রিল চীনের বিভিন্ন শহর থেকে লকডাউন তোলে নেওয়া হয়েছে । মৃত্যুর হার শূন্য কোঠায় নেমে এসেছে । অথচ বিশ্বের বড় বড় শক্তিশালী রাষ্টে বায়ু দূষণের মত ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে এই ভাইরাস । প্রতি মিনিটে চলছে মৃত্যুর মিছিল । কোন ভাবেই কোন দেশ এই সংক্রমনটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারছে না । প্রতিনীয়ত ভয়-ভীতির মধ্য দিয়ে সময় যাচ্ছে । সেখানে চীন এখন পূর্বের মতই স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় রয়েছে ।
বিশ্বের সব থেকে শক্তিশালী ক্ষমতাধর দেশ যুক্তরাষ্ট্রও আজ ভুতুড়ে দেশে পরিনত হয়েছে । সেখানেও এই ভাইরাস কোনো ভাবেই নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে বা প্রতিরোধ করতে পারছেনা । ধারনা করা যাচ্ছে , বিশ্বব্যাপী যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের যে ক্ষমতার প্রভাব বিস্তার করেছিল সেই ক্ষমতার মালিক হতে চাইছে চীন । আর সেকারনেই অত্যন্তত গোপনীতা রক্ষা করেও এই ভাইরাস সৃষ্টি করেছে । এক্সপেরিমেন্ট হিসেবে দেখতে গিয়ে চীনা বিজ্ঞাণীরাই আক্রান্ত হয় এবং সেখান থেকেই ছড়িয়েছে বিভিন্ন শহর ও দেশে ।
এর আগে হোয়াইট হাউসে টাস্কফোর্স আলোচনা সভায় এমন অভিযোগ জানিয়েছিল। এবার তাদের সঙ্গে সুর মিলালো ব্রিটেন। দেশটিতে করোনা পরিস্থিতি সামাল দিতে জরুরি কমিশন গঠন করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী বরিস জনসন।
ব্রিটেনের সংবাদপত্র ‘ডেইলি মেইল’ কোবরা কমিশনের এক কর্মকর্তাকে উদ্ধৃতি করে লিখেছে, ‘বিজ্ঞানীরা যতই বলুন, উহান প্রদেশের গবেষণাগারে জীবাণু তৈরির তথ্য উড়িয়ে দেওয়া যাচ্ছে না।’

চীনের উহানে গবেষণাগার থেকে করোনাভাইরাস ছড়িয়েছে বলে ডেইলি মেইল ২০১৮ সালে চীনের সংবাদপত্র পিপলস ডেইলি চায়নার একটি প্রতিবেদনের কথা তুলে ধরেছে। প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, ‘চীনের ভাইরোলজি ইন্সটিটিউট ইবোলার চেয়ে ভয়ংকর এক জীবাণু নিয়ে গবেষণা করছে। তাই ধারনা করা যাচ্ছে এই সেই জীবানুর তৈরী করোনা ভাইরাস । যা চীনের ল্যাব থেকেই তৈরি হয়ে বিশ্বব্যাপী ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে । পুরো বিশ্বের অর্থনীতিকে থমকে দিয়েছে ।
করোনাভাইরাস জৈব অস্ত্র দাবি করে বক্তব্য রেখেছিলেন ইসরায়েলি ও মার্কিন বিজ্ঞানীরা।
