সরকারি চাকরিতে প্রবেশের বয়সসীমা ৩৫ বছর করার দাবিতে ফের আন্দোলন । এর আগেও বহুবার এই আন্দোলন করা হয়েছিল কিন্তু সরকার তার বিরুধী করেছে এমনকি তারা বেপারটা ভাববে বলেও ছাত্রদের কথা দিয়েছিল কিন্তু কোন ফল হয়নি তাতে । সরকারের মন্তব্য যে ,চাকরিতে প্রবেশের বয়স সীমা ৩০ ই ঠিক আছে এর বেশি হওয়া উচিত নয় ।এ জন্যই – চাকরিতে প্রবেশের বয়সসীমা ৩৫ বছর করার দাবিতে ফের আন্দোলন ।
বার বার এই বেপার নিয়ে মন্ত্রীসভা ও সংসদে আলোচিত হয়েছে এমনকি জাতীয় পার্টির বিরুধী দলীয় নেত্রী রওশন এরশাদ নিজেই এই বেপারে সংসদে প্রস্তাব রেখেছিল কিন্তু তাতেও কোন কাজ হইয়নি । বিগত কয়েক বছর ধরেই চলছে এই ধামাকা কিন্তু তবুও ছাত্ররা জিততে পারেনি । সকল চেষ্টার ফলে এটা হয়েছিল যে,বাংলাদেশের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা ঘোষনা করেছিল যে ১ম শ্রেনীর পেশার কর্মকর্তাদের ক্ষেত্রে বয়স সীমা ৩২ থাকবে আর বাকি ২য়,৩য় ও ৪র্থ শ্রেণী পেশার ক্ষেত্রে আগের বয়স সীমায় বহাল থাকবে।
সরকারি চাকরিতে প্রবেশের বয়স সীমা ৩৫ করার দাবিতে ফের আন্দোলনে নেমেছে চাকরি প্রত্যাশী ও শিক্ষার্থীরা । শনিবার সকাল ১১ টাই বাংলাদেশ ছাত্র সংগ্রাম পরিষদ এবং বাংলাদেশ ছাত্র পরিষদের উদ্যোগে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রাজু ভাস্কর্যের সামনে মহা সমাবেশ এর আয়োজন করেছে ছাত্রজনতা । তারা বলেন এই দাবি আদায় না হওয়া পর্যন্ত আমরা রাজপথ ছাড়বনা ।
সরকারি চাকরিতে আবেদনের বয়স সীমা ৩৫ বছরে উন্নীত করার জন্য দশম জাতীয় সংসদের জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সরকারের স্থায়ী কমিটি পর পর ৩ বার সমাবেশ এর সুপারিশ এবং বর্তমান সরকারের নির্বাচনী ইশতেহারের অঙ্গীকার ও চাকরিতে বয়সসীমা বৃদ্ধির দাবিতে এক মহাসমাবেশ আয়োজিত হয় ।
সমাবেশে সাধারণ ছাত্র পরিষদের মুখপাত্র ইমতিয়াজ হোসেন বলেন,সংসদে জন প্রশাসন মন্ত্রনালয় সম্পর্কিত স্থায়ী কমিটি পর পর ৩ বার সুপারিশের পরেও কেন উপেক্ষা করা হচ্ছে এই বিষয় । সরকার কেন ২৮ লাখ তরুনের দাবী অবহেলা করছে ?
আমরা বলতে চাই দ্রুত আমাদের প্রানের দাবী এটা মেনে নিন ।
সমাবেশে সরকারের উদ্দেশ্যে আন্দোলনকারী এম এ আলী বলেন,সরকার আমাদের সাথে চরম অন্যায় করছে । আমরা সরকারি চাকরিতে বয়স সীমা ৩৫ করার সমাবেশ শান্তিপূর্ন ভাবে করে এসেছি এখনো পর্যন্ত । এ সময় তিনি সরকার কে হুশিয়ারি দিয়ে বলেন,যদি আমাদের দাবিটি অবিলম্বে মেনে নেওয়া না হয় তাহলে বাংলার ৬৪ জেলাতে আমরা দুর্বার আন্দোলন গয়ে তুলব । প্রতিটা শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে ধর্মঘট পালন করব । সারা দেশের জনতা মিলে রাজপথে নেমে আন্দোলন গঠন করব এবং আমাদের দাবী আমরা আদায় করেই ছাড়ব ইনশা আল্লাহ ।

Repeatedly, this issue has been discussed in the cabinet and Parliament, and even the opposition leader of the Jatiya Party, Raushan Ershad himself, proposed to the Parliament on this issue but there was no work. The blast has been going on for the last few years but the students have not won. As a result of all the efforts, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina announced that the age limit for the officers of the 1st class occupation will be 32 and the rest will be in the previous age limit for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade occupations.
Job seekers and students have come down in the movement demanding an age limit of 35 to enter government service. The students organized a large rally in front of the Raju sculpture of Dhaka University on Saturday morning at the initiative of the 11 tie Bangladesh Chhatra Sangram Parishad and Bangladesh Chhatra Parishad. They said we will not leave the highway until this demand is realized.
Speaking at the rally, General Student Council spokesperson Imtiaz Hossain said the issue was being ignored even after the recommendation of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Public Administration in Parliament. Why is the government ignoring the demands of 28 million youths?
We want to say that our lives demand it quickly.
MA Ali, who was the agitator for the government at the rally, said, “The government is doing us great wrong. We have been quietly rallying the age limit in government service so far. At that time, he warned the government, if our demand was not immediately accepted, then we would launch a dharbar movement in that 64 district of Bengal. I will strike at every educational institution. We will form a movement to bring people on the highway along with people all over the country and we will release Insha Allah on demand.
Age limit in government service is 35 years.
